Speechworks offers workshops on an “open enrollment” and customized basis. We also work with teams and individuals in preparation for specific presentations and public speaking events.  We understand that training has to meet the specific needs of your business. 

Our three “open enrollment” programs focus on the most common communication challenges, presenting to audiences and speaking in meetings. We start each workshop by quickly explaining and demonstrating the key ideas of effective communication skills. Then we get our participants to do it themselves. Participants in our workshops are constantly giving presentations, conducting role-plays, and receiving feedback from coaches and peers.  Since there is no substitute for seeing how you look and sound, we do a lot of videotaping followed by constructive feedback. We find this to be the most effective way to get participants comfortable with public speaking.

Our customized programs are tailored to meet specific client challenges. We tailor our existing programs, based on time and budget constraints. We also create wholly new programs to help address specific communication challenges or presentation skills needs.
